Ivan Nikkhoo Joins as Managing Director, Head of Technology Investment Banking

LOS ANGELES (October 28, 2009) - Gemini Partners announced today the addition of Ivan K. Nikkhoo to its team of professionals. Mr. Nikkhoo will serve as Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking, overseeing the firm's technology initiatives while expanding its coverage and capabilities in the sector.

Mr. Nikkhoo brings over 25 years of experience in the technology industry in various senior capacities nationally and internationally to Gemini. Most recently, Mr. Nikkhoo served as head of Technology Investment Banking at Barrington Associates where he directed the firm's initiatives in that sector. Mr. Nikkhoo joined Barrington from the N3 Technology Fund, a long/short technology hedge fund, where he served as Managing Director. Prior to that, he was a General Manager at SOA Software, the leading provider of enterprise-class SOA solutions. Previously, he had served as President of Vertex Systems and Director of European Operations for TLD Systems in Paris.

Mr. Nikkhoo also serves on the board of directors of numerous charity and business organizations, is a frequent guest lecturer at the USC Marshall School of Business and has published several articles in industry and business publications. He holds an M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business and a B.Eng. from McGill University in Montreal.
