Gemini Partners Names Roy Kim as Managing Director of Restructuring
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 10, 2009) – Gemini Partners, Inc. and its affiliate Gemini Valuation Services, LLC (collectively “Gemini”) are pleased to announce the addition of Roy Kim as a Managing Director to the team of financial advisory professionals in its Restructuring Group.
Roy Kim has over 20 years experience as an operations, finance and management expert specializing in middle market companies. He has expertise in turnarounds, restructurings, crisis management, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures for private and public middle market companies. At Sherwood Partners, Roy was the senior executive in charge of over 20 turnaround, restructurings, and Assignment for the Benefit of Creditor projects. Mr. Kim has extensive and in-depth experience in restructuring and insolvency matters including serving in the role of Chief Restructuring Officer for various public and private companies. Mr. Kim received his law degree from NYU School of Law, where he was an editor on the Journal of International Law and Politics, and received his BS in Computer Science, specializing in microprocessor design and software engineering, from the College of Engineering at U.C. Santa Barbara.
