Gemini Completes Majority Recapitalization of Telscape Communications, Inc.

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 7, 2010) - Gemini Partners, Inc. announced today that it has completed the majority recapitalization of Telscape Communications, Inc. ("Telscape" or the "Company"). As a result of the current transaction, Gemini will be the exclusive financial advisor to the Company going forward.

Telscape is the premier, facilities-based Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and wireless services provider serving Hispanic American consumers. The Company currently offers local and long distance access, network features, and international calling services to approximately 75,000 residential customers throughout select markets in Southern California and Nevada including Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas. Telscape is headquartered in Monrovia, CA and has over 180 employees.
